Biographie
Née à Sherbrooke en 1963, ROUSSO réside aujourd’hui à St-Hyacinthe. Pendant plusieurs années, elle baigne dans le milieu des arts, où elle touche notamment à l’émail sur cuivre, à la joaillerie et à la poterie.
Puis, la vie l’éloigne de son parcours artistique, et c’est en 2004 qu’elle reprend ses pinceaux, inspirée par sa fille qui complète un baccalauréat en design.
Sa fréquentation d’artistes de renom l’amène à perfectionner son art. L’influence de Kline et De Kooning insuffle un vent nouveau à sa technique, et c’est ainsi qu’elle trouve sa voie et évolue vers ce style qui lui est aujourd’hui si particulier.
Expositions solo, symposiums et plusieurs collections s’inscrivent dans sa démarche.
Croyant au cheminement de son propre karma, elle vous propose des thèmes de paix, de simplicité et de douceur.

Biography
Born in Sherbrooke in 1963, ROUSSO now lives in St-Hyacinthe. During several years, she is involved in the world of art, where she gets acquainted with enamel, jewellery, and pottery.
Life then pulls her away of her artistic path, where she returns in 2004, inspired by her daughter who pursues Design studies.
The company of many renowned artists brings her to refine her art. The influence of Kline and De Kooning is like a breath of fresh air in the evolution of her technique, thus drawing the path towards that distinctive style that now defines her.
Solo exhibitions, symposiums, and many collections punctuate her artistic route.
As she believes in the evolution of her own karma, she proposes soft, simple and peaceful themes.

ROUSSO, peintre autodidacte, c’est sans influence qu’elle se lance en création par son goût pour l’abstraction. Elle verra lors de son cheminement que Zoran Music, Willem de Kooning et Franz Kline la font vibrer au point de se sentir interpeller par ce mouvement. Elle trouve enfin le sien.
Plusieurs collections sont nées de cette émergence dans son univers abstrait. Elle croit que cette pratique artistique représente les préoccupations individuelles et sociales dans tous les domaines de ce monde. Son rêve est de mettre paix, simplicité et douceur dans nos vies, tout en manifestant une puissance de nos états d’âme.
Créatrice sans limite, elle ajoute des matériaux, brasse des couleurs, se concentre pour atteindre le plus profond de son sens artistique. Sans violence, mais à l’affût de l’innovation, en harmonie avec sa vie, elle nous transporte dans un univers qui n’a de référence que ROUSSO.
